1st Annual Spa-Francorchamps Special
SPA!
The very name carried with it a reverence, and it demanded respect; for the tranquility that was found running flat-out on the Belgian super-track, just as quickly turned to horror when that peace was interrupted. At this Spa-Francorchamps special, survival was a reward in itself.
In it’s season opening trip to Belgium, BRSC's Grand Prix Series tackled one of the worlds most storied venues, adding to it’s already rich history. This was the first official visit following Team Redline's complete revamping of this 4.3 mile super-circuit.
This special event tested the driver’s nerve, courage and stealth throughout all of the race’s grueling 255 kilometers.

Sweet Desserts
Friends to BRSC Sweet Desserts have generously offered to contribute to this great race happening. Long known as the frontrunners in baked delicacies in and around the U.K., Sweet Desserts will be sweetening the pot in victory lane, when they present the winning driver with a very nice engraved cup. As an additional prize, the U.K. driver of the race will win a fine selection of cakes delivered to his home.
Sweet Desserts famous “Sweet Create” deserts have been featured at Wimbledon, The Ivy, Yo Sushi and many other of London’s leading restaurants.
Check BBC archives for a recently aired documentary that featured Sweet Desert’s “man-in-demand” Eddy, in a fly-on-the-wall documentary that follows Eddy as he built up and ultimately launched a new bakery.

About The Race
A big well done to all who competed in this showcase race, and congratulations to race winner Rich Towler, whose hundreds of Team Redline test laps at Spa were in evidence as he blitzed the field Thursday, setting world records in the process. Great Show!
